Adele van der Walt is a practising attorney for the last 23 years. She is a legal authority in the field of medical, fertility and surrogacy law, and attends to matters both nationally and internationally for and on behalf of her extended client base. She played a pivotal role in the amendment of the application of the common law on surrogacy in 2009, and amendments to the State Liability Act in 2008, and has a number of reported cases to her name in the field of medical, and surrogacy law. She advises fertility clinics on the intricacies of fertility and surrogacy law both nationally and internationally. She is passionate about family and feels that her work is her calling.
